Initial ideas for Main stories
1) A new & up coming artist: From my research I found that a lot of magazines use this type of story. I would use this and talk about how their life has changed by being in the spotlight now. This would be done with an interview to attract the reader. However I would give my story some originality instead of being the same as all the other magazines by having this artist new to festivals this summer as my magazines going to be mainly on festivals.
2) A new festival and an interview with the organiser: This would be a good story to use as it original as no other magazine has used this and it meets my theme of festivals. However I don’t know if the reader would be attracted to buy the magazine mainly for this story so I don’t think I will you this story for my double page spread.
3) A success story: This type of story Is used a lot from the research I have found on magazines as readers like to here that some artists have come from the same as them. This gives the reader a similarity and makes them attracted to buy the magazine. However I feel that its too typical for a music magazine to use, I would rather put my own original slant on the story to make it different to other music magazines.

Questionnaire Results
From my questionnaire results I gathered some feedback which I can use to guide me on my magazine. First question I asked I found that the majority of people want to see festival, music and fashion in my music magazine. Next I found that as a competition people would rather receive free tickets to music festival. I also found that they would all be attracted by a freebie in my magazine. My results also showed that the majority would prefer to see fashion and festivals during the summertime. I also found out which font style for my magazine front cover I should choose which is number 3 I have added this into my magazine. All of the viewers would buy y magazine if the price range was £2.51-£3.50 this has helped me decide on pricing my magazine at £2.50. I asked what music genre they would prefer to buy and the answer was dance/house which is my genre. The majority would like to see a new artist interview in my magazine this ha helped me decide on my double page spread story for my magazine. The age range that has answered my question are between 16-25 years old which is my targeted audience for my magazine as well. As I have decided to aim my magazine for women many of my questionnaire answerers were women which has helped me with my magazine choices.

Initial title ideas
Tune
Pulse
Melody
Beat
Blast
Motion
Favorite names
I was thinking about choosing the title Tune as it’s often used as a slang British term said about music, which is enjoyed and up beat. I like that as it could attract a large target market. It can also be in a melody or the tune-family. However I didn’t feel that it was very original for my genre of music.
I decided to choose the title Pulse for my magazine because I feel that it represents music and how it connects to people through making their pulses rise which show they are enjoying the music. This title indicates my genre of music, which is dance with fast, beats in the music to get people dancing at concerts, clubs or at festivals
